Commercial Pilot Certificate

After having recently earned my Instrument Ratinglast October, one of my greatest career and life goals was to eventually earn a commercial pilot certificate. I already had the required 250 hours total time. However, I did need to complete some cross-country flights and some more night work, not to mention practice the required maneuvers for the check ride.

After a few months of flying, studying, and more studying. I am happy to report that as of the 29th of May, I am now a commercial pilot. The pillar of weight that is off my back is such a relief. I feel that I can now pursue other things that I have been putting off. That is a long list, indeed!

I am very fortunate for the support of my wife and family. Without them, none of this could have been possible. As for what lies ahead in my aviation adventures, I am not exactly sure. Perhaps start working on my CFI rating. At a little over 400 hours, I don’t qualify for most pilot jobs. But for now, I am going to take a short break and start getting after it very soon.
